After fifteen years spent in Paris in his wine bistro, the Restaurant L'Ange Vin, Jean-Pierre Robinot, passionate about natural wines, returned to his native village of Chahaignes, a small town in the Sarthe region, located between Le Mans and Tours. He acquired some 10 hectares of land in the Coteaux du Loir appellation on which he gradually planted a few hectares of vines. Fervent defender of organic agriculture, reasoned yields and natural vinification, Jean-Pierre shapes Chenin Blanc like no one else, favoring slow presses and long maturation.
