The Hochäcker site is one of the oldest vineyards in Horitschon. Its stoneless, hard, loamy subsoil is interspersed with iron. This makes it a traditional soil for Blaufränkisch.

The vines, aged 40 years, produce grapes of the highest quality there for every harvest.
