Blend of Lambic and camerise (edible blue honeysuckle berry).
For the past two years, we've been producing small batches of a blend of Lambic and camerises, a small fruit with a slightly sweet taste and hints of acidity.
As the fruit of the blue honeysuckle produces a blood-red beer, the new name for this beer was obvious: Sang Bleu. Our friend Ammo has once again spoiled us with a superb label for this new product.
The Van Roy family has been established in the heart of Brussels for more than a hundred years, and the Cantillon Brewery is one of the rare vestiges of this ancestral tradition in the city. The gueuzes, a blend of young and old lambics, are renowned for their freshness and finesse, and beer lovers love their beers flavoured with fresh fruit, krieks, raspberries, apricots, etc.
